Her boldness and passion drive her commitment to making Athens inclusive and affordable for all of us. LaKeisha believes everyone should have the opportunity for self-determination. Athens should and can be a city that fosters community, belonging, freedom, and empowerment for all. LaKeisha envisions a thriving and equitable Athens where every member of the community has the opportunity to succeed.

​LaKeisha is an Athens native whose experiences, compassion, and critical thinking have fostered an urgency and calling to make Athens a place where we can all thrive. Her collaborative and comprehensive approach to governance will focus on creative and innovative approaches to problem-solving to move Athens toward this vision.
